Viskase, a global leader in cellulose and plastic casings for the food industry, faced fragmented quality management across plants in the U.S., France, Brazil, Mexico, Italy and the Philippines where multiple home‑grown systems prevented centralized control, consistent reporting, and easy comparison of specifications. To address this, Viskase selected Apriso Quality from Dassault Systemes as its corporate quality planning, management and execution solution that could interoperate with SAP and handle complex, site‑specific requirements.

Dassault Systemes implemented Apriso Quality beginning at the Thaon‑Les‑Vosges site, tailoring familiar user interfaces, integrating production orders from SAP, and rolling the system out across other plants. The Apriso deployment centralized specifications and quality data, eliminated manual documentation processes, improved real‑time visibility and trend detection, enabled consistent KPI reporting worldwide, and boosted operator confidence and productivity while maintaining site‑level machine flexibility.
