A Dassault Systemes Case Study
Olympic Tools Hellas, a 49‑employee Greek aerospace and defense subcontractor, faced the challenge of designing complex tooling while managing large volumes of product data and documentation. To meet aerospace OEM standards and improve collaboration and lead times, the company turned to Dassault Systemes and its CATIA PLM Express solution, migrating from CATIA V4 to an integrated design and data management platform.
Dassault Systemes implemented CATIA PLM Express (with seven Methods engineers trained in just over three weeks) to centralize tooling design, version control and virtual validation; Olympic Tools Hellas reports shorter development cycles, reduced costs, and production errors cut to “almost zero” through better revision control. The vendor’s tools also enabled smooth data migration and positioned the company more competitively with major OEMs, while planned deployment of ENOVIA SmarTeam will further secure documentation management and ISO compliance.
