Case Study: SOPAL achieves faster, trend-driven product launches with Dassault Systèmes' V6 PLM Express and 3DVIA

A Dassault Systemes Case Study

Preview of the SOPAL Case Study

SOPAL keeps pace with consumer trends thanks to V6 PLM Express and 3DVIA

SOPAL, a Tunisia-based manufacturer of faucets and valves with 520 employees, faced rapidly changing consumer tastes and the need to accelerate product development while managing complex styling and lifecycle data. To stay responsive to year-to-year design trends and ensure a single “version of the truth” across departments, SOPAL selected Dassault Systemes solutions—V6 PLM Express (including CATIA V6) and 3DVIA Composer—to support design, manufacturing, documentation and collaboration.

Dassault Systemes implemented an integrated V6 PLM platform that unified design, reverse engineering and documentation, plus 3DVIA Composer and 3DVIA Mobile for interactive assembly instructions and product promotion. The solution improved cross‑department collaboration, enabled complex surface styling with CATIA V6, reduced assembly errors via 3D exploded views and animations, and helped SOPAL publish and promote its portfolio globally through 3dvia.com—allowing the company to bring the right products to market more quickly and consistently.
