Soosan Heavy Industries, Korea’s largest industrial equipment manufacturer of breakers, cranes and drills, sought to become a top-three global supplier by improving BOM accuracy, boosting productivity and shortening development times. Dassault Systemes’ solution enabled digital verification of performance and early defect detection, cutting reliance on costly physical prototypes and resolving previous CAD performance issues. As a result, Soosan reduced its custom product development cycle from about 2.5 years to roughly 1.5 years (around a 40% reduction), improved collaboration across departments for about 50 users, and capitalized design data to drive further time and cost savings.
