SHoP Architects - Customer Case Study

SHoP Architects, a New York–based design firm, needed to manage multiple disciplines, massive project data and tight fabrication tolerances across global teams for complex projects like the Botswana Innovation Hub. To address this, SHoP adopted Dassault Systemes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud—leveraging CATIA, ENOVIA and the Design for Fabrication industry solution experience—to support collaborative 3D modeling and coordinated workflows.

Dassault Systemes implemented a cloud-based, single-platform solution that centralized models, templates and live dashboards to enable real-time global coordination, end-to-end traceability and direct digital-to-fabrication workflows. The platform reduced information loss between design and manufacture, accelerated design-to-fabrication (including NC code generation for façade fabrication in Cape Town), and improved stakeholder collaboration and decision-making across time zones for SHoP Architects.
