Reducing 3D representation development time from one week to one day with 3DVIA Composer

Hanil E-hwa, a leading automotive interior parts supplier, needed to economize on time and improve the quality of 3D product illustration documents that contained very large volumes of design data and had to remain compatible with existing PLM systems. To meet these challenges, Hanil E-hwa selected Dassault Systemes’ 3DVIA Composer for its ability to convert heavy CAD datasets into lightweight formats and integrate with CATIA, ENOVIA and DELMIA.

Dassault Systemes implemented 3DVIA Composer, enabling direct CAD reading and PLM linking to streamline creation of high-resolution 3D representations, animated assembly instructions, bills of materials, specification charts and quality-control documents. The solution dramatically cut production time for large, complex 3D representations from one week to one day, significantly boosting Hanil E-hwa’s efficiency and throughput.
