Procter & Gamble Reinventing innovation processes with Dassault Systèmes

Procter & Gamble, the world’s leading consumer packaged goods company, faced growing complexity in developing products and packaging across 80 manufacturing countries and hundreds of retail partners, with more than one million product‑development data entries made daily. To digitize innovation and create a single source of truth, Procter & Gamble partnered with Dassault Systèmes to implement the V6 PLM portfolio — including ENOVIA, CATIA and SIMULIA — and extend capabilities into formula design.

Dassault Systèmes delivered a V6 PLM solution that provides role‑based, up‑to‑the‑moment data access, integrated design and realistic simulation and integrates Enginuity for formula authoring; the rollout is planned for 15,000–25,000 P&G employees. Early results include broader data availability for targeted users, tighter supplier integration for packaging/artwork, reduced duplication of data entries, fewer physical prototypes through virtual simulation, and an expected full PLM benefit within three to four years, improving R&D productivity and accelerating time to market.
