Oberaigner Powertrain, an Austrian specialist in automotive drivetrains that has expanded into developing a six‑seat business jet, needed an integrated development environment to manage complex multi‑site collaboration between its Nebelberg and Rostock teams and external suppliers. To meet that challenge the company selected Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, using CATIA, SIMULIA, ENOVIA and 3DVIA Composer for design, analysis and data management.

Dassault Systemes implemented a single source of truth across sites and suppliers so engineers can do preliminary checks in CATIA, hand off refined models to SIMULIA for FEA, manage product data intuitively in ENOVIA, and produce concurrent documentation with 3DVIA Composer. The deployment enabled faster rollout, easier supplier data integration, reduced validation iterations, improved design reuse and traceability, and measurable productivity gains in collaboration and development throughput for Oberaigner Powertrain.
