Case Study: National Technical University of Ukraine achieves aerospace-ready engineering skills with Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE

National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” needed to equip mechanical engineering students with applied mechanics and materials skills demanded by the aerospace industry. To close the skills gap the university adopted Dassault Systemes solutions—centered on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and its CATIA, SIMULIA, DELMIA and ENOVIA applications—to bring modern 3D design, simulation and PLM into its curriculum.

With implementation support from local partner NPO Solid and Dassault Systemes’ applications, students gain hands‑on experience with centralized 3D models, collaborative workflows and manufacturing simulation used by industry partners like Boeing and Antonov. The result is graduates ready for aerospace roles—NTUU’s programs (serving some 25,000 students) now deliver practical 3D modeling, analysis and digital manufacturing skills that improve employability and align university output with employer needs.
