A Dassault Systemes Case Study
MG McGrath, a Minnesota-based architectural surfaces manufacturer, needed to accelerate its design-to-fabrication workflow while delivering highly complex, uniquely shaped panels for the United States Olympic Museum. To address tight schedules and unprecedented geometry, MG McGrath chose Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform on cloud with the Design for Fabrication industry solution experience (leveraging CATIA and ENOVIA).
By implementing Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE and Design for Fabrication on the cloud, MG McGrath established a single, live source of project data that sped decision-making, reduced IT overhead and improved shop‑floor clarity. The company managed more than 9,000 unique shingles, achieved one‑sixteenth‑inch panel tolerances, cut tasks that previously took hundreds of hours down to hours, automated repetitive modeling of thousands of pieces, and reduced physical mockups—delivering clear, measurable time and cost savings across design, fabrication and installation.
