Kreisel Electric, an Austrian pioneer in e‑mobility, set out to electrify a 1971 EVEX Porsche 910 but faced the challenge of packaging a long‑range battery pack, cooling system, gearbox and powertrain into very limited space while keeping costs and schedules in check. To address these multi‑discipline engineering constraints, Kreisel Electric adopted Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to provide a single source of trusted information and collaborative design, simulation and project‑planning tools.

Using Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE and its Electro‑Mobility Accelerator apps, Kreisel Electric integrated requirements, 3D design, simulation, manufacturing and project management to enable real‑time collaboration, digital crash simulation and early production of designed parts. The implementation cut development cycle time by 50%, reduced physical prototyping costs, capitalized intellectual property for reuse and kept the EVEX 910e project on budget and on schedule.
