Mirgor, an Argentine leader in automotive and consumer climate-control systems, needed to maintain its market position by delivering more innovative products that met evolving customer specifications. To accelerate design, improve validation and reduce reengineering, Mirgor partnered with Dassault Systemes and implemented CATIA PLM Express, including CATIA Analysis and Digital Mock-Up modules.

Using Dassault Systemes’ CATIA PLM Express to automate tubing and bracket design and run virtual FEA and DMU tests, Mirgor increased design productivity by over 30% and reduced modification/reengineering time by about 30%. The solution also cut design-stage errors, boosted design reuse, and helped Mirgor win and produce condensers for General Motors after successful 50,000 km durability trials.
