Improving process and data management with ENOVIA V6

MacGregor, the global leader in marine cargo cranes, faced a sharp rise in orders and needed to improve efficiency and after‑sales responsiveness across its worldwide service network. To address this challenge, MacGregor turned to Dassault Systemes and deployed ENOVIA V6 to better structure business processes, manage product data, and give employees and partners secure, role‑based access to information.

Dassault Systemes implemented ENOVIA V6 integrated with SAP to create a single source of truth for product and BOM data, enforce workflows and engineering‑change controls, and extend secure global access across Sweden, China and Korea (with production partners to follow). The result was improved collaboration, traceability and service reactivity—parts and configurations are managed in PLM while SAP handles part numbering—eliminating dispersed databases and streamlining after‑sales and production information access.
