Arburg, a global leader in injection molding machines, needed to bring products to market faster while increasing quality and lowering costs. To achieve this, Arburg relies on Dassault Systemes solutions—primarily CATIA, ENOVIA and 3DVIA Composer—which it has used for virtual product development and PLM for many years.

Dassault Systemes implemented a unified PLM strategy using CATIA for virtual design, ENOVIA for a common project database and collaboration, and 3DVIA Composer for automated technical documentation. As a result Arburg doubled its development-to-delivery speed, reduced physical prototypes, improved cross-team collaboration and saved significant time creating documentation and spare-parts lists that can be used for online ordering.
