T3 Energy Services, a Houston-based designer and manufacturer of well control parts with more than 500 employees across 24 sites, faced growing challenges securing intellectual property, ensuring correct design revisions across dispersed locations, and managing complex 3D CAD files. To address this, T3 Energy selected ENOVIA SmarTeam from Dassault Systemes to provide product data management and distributed vault capabilities.

Dassault Systemes implemented ENOVIA SmarTeam to create distributed data vaults, multi-CAD support, check-in/check-out revision control, a customized BOM report and a Navigator web interface for remote users. The solution synchronized six product lines across 24 sites, eliminated dual data entry by pushing metadata to ERP, established secure file permissions, and reduced the risk of costly shop-floor errors (avoiding mistakes that could cost $10,000–$20,000), delivering clear ROI for T3 Energy.
