EnSoCorp, a New Jersey consulting firm led by Chuck Cuyulis, designs and troubleshoots municipal and commercial wastewater treatment systems—tackling issues from clogged screens and unexpected debris to overloaded pumps and space-constrained sites that require mini wastewater plants. For mechanical layouts, electrical wiring diagrams and to read/update clients’ DWG legacy files, EnSoCorp uses DraftSight, the free 2D CAD product from Dassault Systemes.

By adopting DraftSight from Dassault Systemes, EnSoCorp cut software costs (saving “a few thousand dollars”), shortened onboarding to about a one-hour learning curve, and sped up delivery of accurate CAD drawings and control/instrumentation designs. Dassault Systemes’ tool helped the firm efficiently serve 30–40 clients, design compact treatment plants for tight sites, and improve productivity while keeping project costs low.
