Doosan Infracore, a global manufacturer of construction machinery, machine tools and engines, needed to standardize product development and improve multi-site collaboration across 14 subsidiaries and R&D centers to reach its goal of becoming a top-three global machinery supplier. After evaluating PLM options, Doosan Infracore selected Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform—including CATIA V6, ENOVIA V6 and DELMIA V6—to replace fragmented, in‑house tools and address slow development cycles, data incompatibility and security gaps.

Dassault Systemes implemented an integrated collaborative environment that enables concurrent engineering, unified BOM management and 3D virtual testing and simulation. Doosan Infracore expects significantly faster development cycles, tighter cost and schedule control, a common secure database for design data, and a greater than 90% reduction in production errors and rework through early virtual validation using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
