Case Study: Korea University achieves advanced 3D training with Dassault Systèmes' 3DVIA

Developing 3D experts with 3DVIA

Korea University’s School of Mechanical Engineering wanted to strengthen a theory-heavy curriculum by giving students practical 3D software experience and moving from traditional 2D tools to lifelike 3D content. To meet this challenge, Korea University adopted Dassault Systemes’ 3DVIA to teach real-time 3D applications and machine-model visualization.

Dassault Systemes delivered 3DVIA training and tools that let students create much more complex 3D graphic designs, making classwork more productive and instructor evaluation easier. As a result, student design capabilities and engagement increased, the quality and sophistication of projects improved significantly, and the department plans to extend 3DVIA training to other curricula.
