Defense & Space Korea (DNSK) develops aviation simulators to train pilots and maintenance crews and faced the challenge of shifting focus from hardware to software while delivering powerful, fast, and flexible training solutions that meet changing customer requirements. To address this, DNSK partnered with Dassault Systemes and adopted the 3DVIA application from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as its core development tool.

Dassault Systemes’ 3DVIA provided a single simulation engine and integrated data workflow that streamlined revisions and enabled richer virtual-maintenance training; DNSK achieved a 50% improvement in employee efficiency, up to 20% cost savings, and a 50% reduction in prototype/build time, boosting overall solution reliability. The Dassault Systemes collaboration also positioned DNSK to expand into shipbuilding and automotive training markets and to develop new 3D/AR interface devices.
