COVAL, an industrial equipment company in the United States, needed to quickly evaluate new concepts to reduce uncertainty, minimize risk, optimize time and save money during a new product development cycle. Dassault Systemes’ SOLIDWORKS solution enabled COVAL to optimize the hydraulic component layout within a compact casing, compress the design timeline compared with similar projects, and streamline data sharing from design to 3D prototyping, sales and customers. As a result, COVAL reduced development time, lowered risk and improved collaboration by accessing and iterating on concept data from anywhere.
