COPRO Technology, a German start-up that develops roll-forming machines for carbon-fiber composite preforms, needed to accelerate design and assembly, manage large machine assemblies across two sites, and avoid heavy IT investments as it scaled. Dassault Systemes’ cloud solution gave COPRO a single, secure place for geometry, dimensions and project data, enabling concurrent engineering, modular reuse of components and rapid tailoring of machines to customer specs. The approach reduced design and assembly effort, helped COPRO stay cost-competitive (their roll-forming machines can cut preforming costs by up to 35%), supported faster delivery and international business development, and provided scalable, pay-as-you-go tools to grow the company without upfront IT overhead.
