Blum, an Austrian manufacturer of high‑end furniture fittings, needed to deliver highly tailored products to diverse customers and to modernize its engineering processes. To meet this challenge, Blum worked with Dassault Systemes, deploying ENOVIA V6 together with ENOVIA SmarTeam to manage SolidWorks CAD data and consolidate technical, product, and process information.

Dassault Systemes implemented an interim integration using ENOVIA V6 and Adaplet technology so Blum could access and continue using its ENOVIA SmarTeam information while gaining V6 capabilities. The solution delivered web‑based, secure global access to product data, improved BOM, configuration and change management, and more flexible workflow control—allowing Blum to preserve past investments, streamline approval processes, and enable engineering collaboration across every manufacturing location.
