Case Study: Bosch achieves centralized component traceability and standardized electronics development with Dassault Systèmes' ENOVIA (3DEXPERIENCE)

A Dassault Systemes Case Study

Preview of the BOSCH Case Study

BOSCH - Customer Case Study

BOSCH confronted fragmented data management across globally distributed divisions that made tracing component use and obtaining model‑level information inefficient or impossible. To address this, the company implemented the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform application ENOVIA from Dassault Systemes to provide a single, integrated data and process backbone for its Automotive Technology Division.

Using ENOVIA from Dassault Systemes, BOSCH created a centrally managed component library with versioning, role‑based access, and automated CAD library updates, standardizing development processes across the division. The solution—ENOVIA Version 6—now supports more than 2,000 developers worldwide, improves traceability of components and configurations, reduces the number of point applications, and has positioned BOSCH to extend the approach to other business units.
