Benetton Group, a global fashion company with four brands, 6,400 stores in 120 countries and more than 9,000 styles (about 217,000 SKUs), faced the challenge of coordinating manufacturing and retail operations across owned plants and diverse sourcing locations while reducing product time-to-market, improving quality and meeting sustainability goals. Dassault Systemes implemented the 3DEXPERIENCE in phased projects—strategic and operative sourcing, then product development and manufacturing operations—replacing legacy systems and engaging over 1,000 global users. The platform has unified collaboration across plants, suppliers and logistics, strengthened eco-design and compliance capabilities, and is expected to shorten the typical five-month development cycle for main collections, helping Benetton Group gain competitive advantage.
