AKKA Technologies and its R&D arm AKKA Research needed to develop the autonomous Link & Go 2.0 electric vehicle while coordinating 40 engineers across multiple sites in France and Germany. To enable cross-disciplinary, multisite collaboration and full digital continuity from ideation to assembly, AKKA selected Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud, including CATIA for mechanical, electrical and systems design.

Dassault Systemes deployed the cloud-hosted 3DEXPERIENCE platform and CATIA to provide a single shared environment with communities, dashboards and secure, regularly backed-up data, going live at eight sites in under two days. The solution let teams virtually design and simulate complex mechatronic systems—avoiding weeks of physical testing—while accelerating error detection, streamlining coordination and improving data access, security and project transparency for AKKA Technologies.
