skyn ICELAND, the vegan, cruelty-free skincare brand rooted in Icelandic botanicals, wanted to bring its highly engaged Instagram community onto its website to extend the brand world and inspire shoppers. To do this without adding complexity to the social team, skyn ICELAND turned to Dash Hudson and its Spirit on-site galleries to surface earned, celebrity, and fan content directly on product pages.
Dash Hudson enabled skyn ICELAND to curate, customize and embed Spirit galleries site-wide using content segmentation and a simple code snippet, link images directly to product pages (up to seven links per image), and track clicks and conversions via Dash Hudson and Google Analytics. The result: Spirit galleries became a clear revenue driver (average sales conversion rate 5.16%), simplified social-to-site management, and kept the site feeling relevant and shoppable.
