Rare Beauty, the beauty brand founded by Selena Gomez, wanted to maximize the impact of its celebrity founder on TikTok while also scaling a strong creator strategy. To do this, the team used Dash Social’s TikTok Insights and social analytics tools to better understand which content styles, creators, and moments would resonate most with its audience.

Using Dash Social, Rare Beauty measured performance metrics like average watch time, engagement rate, reach, and entertainment score to optimize both organic and paid TikTok content. The results were strong: creator content earned 16% longer watch time, accounted for 18% of total campaign views, and drove 98% of recent ad campaign conversions, while founder-led ads delivered 770% more average video views to completion than the brand’s other ad content.
