TAC Stakeholder Database Enables Effective Partnerships

The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is a Victorian Government‑owned organisation responsible for paying treatment and benefits to people injured in transport accidents, promoting road safety and improving Victoria’s trauma system. Facing a need to coordinate partnerships across Victoria Police, the Department of Justice and VicRoads and to support its TAC2020 strategy, TAC required a shared stakeholder database to manage relationships, avoid duplication and better inform engagement. Darzin Software was engaged to provide its stakeholder engagement software for this purpose.

Darzin Software implemented a central, organisation‑wide stakeholder database that records interactions, maps stakeholder interests and themes, and gives staff real‑time access to up‑to‑date stakeholder profiles. The solution improved coordination, reduced duplication of engagement activities, helped identify and manage social risks, and enabled more proactive relationship building — outcomes that directly support TAC’s TAC2020 goals of “Towards Zero” and getting clients’ lives back on track.
