Stakeholder Engagement for Digital Health Projects

Canada Health Infoway, the national agency driving Canada’s digital health initiatives and the PrescribeIT™ e-prescribing pilot, needed a way to track and report extensive stakeholder engagement across provinces, clinicians, pharmacies, vendors and government partners. To manage and demonstrate who had been consulted, how often, and what feedback was received during the PrescribeIT™ rollout, Infoway adopted Darzin Software to record and organize all engagement activity.

Darzin Software was implemented to capture meetings, workshops, vendor sessions and communications, to group stakeholders for targeted updates, and to manage follow-up tasks. The platform delivered reliable, accessible records that let Infoway provide proof of engagement (who met, meeting frequency, topics and input) and ensured commitments were tracked to completion—supporting project coordination and contributing to PrescribeIT™’s progress toward limited production release in two provinces.
