Managing Submissions on the NSW State Plan

The NSW State Government ran a statewide consultation on a draft State Plan that generated thousands of written submissions and hundreds of meeting attendees across many portfolios and regions. To manage this volume and complexity they used Darzin Software to capture, sort and analyze submissions and stakeholder comments.

Darzin Software sorted feedback by portfolio and region and its qualitative analysis tools delivered targeted comments or issue counts to officials, letting Department heads and Ministers quickly review relevant feedback. The system handled thousands of submissions, produced regional reports used in stakeholder meetings (where participants often recognized their own comments), and helped the government demonstrate how public input shaped the final plan while rebuilding trust in the consultation process.
