Managing Stakeholder Engagement across NZTA Major Projects

The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) needed to manage stakeholder engagement and long‑term consultation data across many major road development projects around Wellington. To centralize submissions, improve information sharing and enable consistent long‑term tracking, NZTA adopted Darzin Software’s Darzin stakeholder engagement and management system.

Darzin Software implemented a centralized platform that brought consultants’ engagement data under NZTA licence, with role‑based access, real‑time updates, a survey/submission management workflow and cross‑project reporting. As a result, NZTA can track and report across multiple projects, run trend and cross‑project issue analyses, retain consultation records after construction for ongoing knowledge capture, and streamline consultant reporting for more consistent, efficient and auditable stakeholder management.
