Epping Forest District Council needed to run a wide-reaching public consultation on its Draft Local Plan to guide development to 2033 and capture structured feedback from residents. To manage that process the council – working with consultants Remarkable Pendragon – used Darzin Software’s Darzin platform, including its survey function, to host and collect responses across online and offline channels.

Darzin Software provided an embedded online questionnaire plus support for hard‑copy forms at six public exhibitions and council offices, and the team entered and analysed over 1,500 submissions using Darzin’s quantitative and qualitative reporting. The solution gave the council clear, reportable insights into responses to individual policies, locality priorities and key themes, streamlining analysis from the six‑week consultation and informing plan development.
