Embed SRM as a Business Function in State Government

The Queensland Department of State Development faced an obsolete CRM and the loss of vendor support after their original system was decommissioned in 2013, leaving them with an interim solution and no permanent stakeholder management platform. To address this gap they selected Darzin Software and implemented the Darzin SRM as their long‑term stakeholder relationship management system in 2014.

Darzin Software delivered a two‑phase implementation—configuration, training, testing, data migration and ongoing support—covering two divisions (up to 250 users) and expanding by 2016 to nearly 400 users across additional business units. The Darzin solution centralized stakeholder information, improved service levels, staff efficiency, data accuracy, timeliness of responses, reporting and audit controls, and provided a secure records environment; the project was completed on time and within budget, with high user adoption and plans to extend Darzin across the wider state government.
