Rosia Montana is a community of sixteen villages in Transylvania facing legacy environmental contamination, extreme local unemployment after mine closures, and the need for a rigorous EIA and community engagement program for the proposed Rosia Montana Project. To manage the complex stakeholder relations and community consultation required by the EIA, the project team used Darzin Software’s stakeholder engagement platform.

Darzin Software imported years of historical stakeholder data, enabled bilingual (Romanian and English) recording of communications, and centralized information sharing between teams in Romania and Canada.
