Aarti Industries, a global specialty chemicals leader, wanted to move beyond a data-entry-centric HR system and make employee recognition more seamless, engaging, and scalable across its distributed workforce. The company needed a way to better support development, teamwork, employer branding, and recognition of safety, sustainability, innovation, and top performance. Darwinbox’s Rewards & Recognition module, Arjan, was selected to help meet these goals.

Darwinbox implemented Aarti Industries’ full Rewards & Recognition program in just 2 days, consolidating peer-to-peer recognition, nominations, badges, leaderboards, rewards redemption, and event-based awards into one digital platform. The new system helped convert offline plant-level awards into a company-wide online program, driving strong adoption above 80% within 2 months. In the first year, the top 10 receivers averaged 177 recognitions each and the top 10 recognizers gave 529 recognitions each, while HR spent less time administering programs and more time driving results.
