Virgin Australia Enjoys Unprecedented Visibility into its Project Portfolio through Daptiv PPM

Virgin Australia, a multi-brand airline group serving 45 destinations with about 6,000 employees, needed enterprise-wide visibility and a scalable project portfolio management (PPM) system to support a new internal project methodology. After a 2007–2008 selection process they chose Daptiv PPM, implemented by Bluenova, to replace fragmented spreadsheets, email and standalone tools and to support many users across divisions.

Daptiv was piloted across departments and configured iteratively, enabling process standardization and real-time business intelligence. Today Virgin manages roughly 300 projects across four major groups with roll-up dashboards for portfolio oversight and day-to-day tools for program and project managers, improving visibility, user confidence and ongoing reporting and configuration support.
