Sovereign Consulting, a New Jersey–based environmental services firm working across 20 states, was contracted by Shell to manage remediation and regulatory compliance at 600 sites. Previously dependent on multiple Excel spreadsheets, Sovereign needed a standardized, on-demand collaborative system to assign and monitor thousands of tasks across roughly 150 external resources and improve group collaboration and oversight.

Sovereign implemented Daptiv PPM, giving 20 managers a web-based platform to create workgroups, assign tasks, send notifications and run reports. The system now tracks about 9,000 tasks (scalable to 15,000), enabled 100% compliance tracking, and earned recognition from Shell as the most sophisticated solution among six consultants—delivering better automation, collaboration and ongoing SaaS-driven improvements.
