ANDRITZ AUTOMATION Inc., a global engineering and control systems firm with over 50 years’ experience, needed more than basic timesheet tracking — they lacked visibility into individual engineering tasks, workloads and future project planning. Their previous tool couldn’t manage projects or resources, produce custom reports, or support integration with their SAP accounting system, leaving resource managers and accounting without the timely data needed for effective planning and payroll.

ANDRITZ implemented Daptiv PPM across its Automation Solutions group to handle project, resource and timesheet management, project scheduling and capacity planning, with accounting using custom Daptiv reports for payroll. The result: smoother, more accurate processes (accounting saves 2–3 hours per week and payroll reporting is 100% accurate), better resource planning and collaboration, and faster access to project and resource details for management.
