InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the world’s largest hotel group, was opening new properties across the Americas almost daily and needed a way to quickly identify and resolve process bottlenecks. Relying on Microsoft Project proved insufficient for enterprise-scale oversight, collaboration and automation, so the Americas Operations PMO required a fast-to-deploy, flexible, low-cost SaaS solution to manage growing project volume and enforce consistent methodology.

IHG implemented Daptiv PPM, which was rapidly configured to their needs and extended with custom Dynamic Applications for surveys, project requests, finance (ETC) and archival data. The solution delivered templates, visual dashboards and resource-management reports that improved project initiation times, enabled earlier and more accurate cost forecasting, prevented resource over‑utilization, supported remote work, and became the operational backbone of the PMO.
