Good Samaritan Scales Project Portfolio Management Initiative with Daptiv

The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, the nation’s largest not-for-profit senior care provider serving 27,000 people across 240 campuses in 24 states, needed to scale project portfolio management beyond its headquarters. The PMO faced fragmented tools (home-grown site, Excel, MS Project and paper), inconsistent data, resource constraints and real implementation risk for large initiatives like electronic medical records.

The Society implemented Daptiv’s SaaS PPM to centralize portfolios, categorize projects and provide visibility at headquarters, state and site levels. Daptiv’s reporting and dashboarding improved prioritization, transparency and resource tracking, supported executive and COO decision-making, delivered clearer cost/hour insights, and helped the organization adopt SaaS as a practical, plug‑and‑play model.
