Case Study: Ellerhold achieves automated, high‑throughput poster and label production with DALIM SOFTWARE

Ellerhold, a German printing group famous for billboard posters that has expanded into packaging, displays and labels, needed to manage growing complexity from mixed digital and large-format offset production across six locations while meeting shrinking lead times and enabling print-on-demand. To address high data volumes, variable poster formats and demanding prepress requirements, Ellerhold chose DALIM SOFTWARE and its production automation solution DALIM TWIST.

DALIM SOFTWARE implemented DALIM TWIST to provide modular, high-throughput workflows—about 15–20 configured workflows per location—for automated preflighting, file optimization/conversion, color management, trapping and labeling, and to share a single “mother file” across sites. The result was eliminated manual intervention, standardized processes across production sites, support for flexible print-on-demand, and significantly shortened throughput times, delivering faster, more reliable campaign production for Ellerhold.
