V-TAB, Scandinavia’s largest newspaper printer with nine production plants (printing over 70,000 pages/month and peaking at ~6,000 pages/day), needed to centralise prepress after a 2005 merger to handle increased volume, reduce manual file handling, and give clients web-based access and native‑language job tracking. To meet these requirements they selected DALIM SOFTWARE and its DALiM MiSTRAL solution.

DALIM SOFTWARE deployed two mirrored DALiM MiSTRAL systems (implemented by Network Innovation AB) to provide a customised web upload interface, automated preflighting/normalisation and JDF-driven handoff to Harlequin ScriptWorks RIP and InfraLogic for routing to seven print sites. The centralised workflow improved production monitoring, increased throughput without adding staff, delivered native‑language client access and tracking, and cut cost‑per‑page by more than 35%.
