TWIST shines at Gloss Studio

Gloss Studio, a New York–based high-end commercial retouching studio, faced a growing workload and manual, time-consuming proofing and file-management tasks that needed to be automated and integrated with its Filemaker Pro database. To address this, Gloss Studio chose DALIM SOFTWARE’s TWIST to handshake with Filemaker Pro and replace manual conversion, slugging and proof generation.

DALIM SOFTWARE implemented TWIST (with IO Integration development) to automatically ingest files, write thumbnails and metadata into Filemaker Pro, manage versions and archive old proofs, and batch-process images. The automation reduced a four‑to‑five step, up-to‑5‑minute task to seconds, saved about 45 minutes per retoucher per day (≈18 hours daily across 24 retouchers), and doubled Gloss Studio’s retouching capacity in six months despite only a 30–40% staff increase; DALIM SOFTWARE’s TWIST also standardized workflows and delivered reliable, responsive support.
