TWIST consistently processes variables for Ceanothe

Ceanothe, a Lyon-based manufacturer of decorative frames, photo albums and wall decorations, needed to modernize its prepress and digital printing workflows. Facing an unstable, undocumented open‑source tool from an acquired company that depended on one person and only covered part of production, Ceanothe sought a configurable system to inject variables (distributor branding, logos, copyright, Gencode, etc.) from its ERP into tracer RIPs. They selected DALIM SOFTWARE’s TWIST to address these needs.

DALIM SOFTWARE’s TWIST, implemented with integrator Pixel Tech, was configured across Ceanothe’s 22 tracers in just two days and has run in production for three weeks without requiring intervention. An XML interface now feeds orders into TWIST, which links to the image base, processes variables, and generates correct print copies and settings—delivering fast deployment, stable operation and enabling new customized printing options and upcoming barcode and color‑standardization projects.
