RCS MediaGroup, one of Italy’s leading publishing houses active across newspapers, magazines, books, web and mobile, faced the challenge of automating high‑volume, multi‑channel publishing workflows—from editorial and advertising page assembly to e‑book/tablet production and print‑on‑demand—while speeding up delivery for new media. To meet this, RCS worked with DALIM SOFTWARE (using the TWIST platform) alongside Hyphen‑Italia’s Chalco.MBM to integrate DAM/CMS, production and back‑end systems across its business units.

DALIM SOFTWARE’s TWIST, integrated with Chalco.MBM, automated the assembly and normalization of advertising and editorial pages (producing several thousand “combined” pages for magazines), generated E‑PDF and fixed‑layout EPUBs for tablets, powered the Scuolabook e‑library output, and enabled automated print‑on‑demand repurposing. The integrated DALIM SOFTWARE solution eliminated many manual steps, streamlined metadata‑driven workflows, and delivered faster, repeatable production across print and digital channels.
