PrintPlace.com, LLC, a Web-to-Print provider in Arlington, Texas, needed an automated premedia workflow that could accept any file format, produce “bullet‑proof” print‑ready PDF/X‑1a files quickly, and scale with growth. DALIM SOFTWARE implemented TWIST (deployed via IO Integration) to create dynamically generated workflows that analyze incoming files and job specs, correct trim boxes, discover orientation variables for MIS, and produce fast, reliable PDFs. The solution enabled PrintPlace.com to handle about 2,000 jobs per week, deliver proofs in roughly three minutes, move from quote to approval in about 15 minutes and be on press that same morning—dramatically reducing manual labor and the need for a large prepress staff.
