Phoenix Color, a leading U.S. book printer and division of Lakeside Book Company, needed a better way to manage highly complex, high-volume imposition and production workflows as its book formats and output demands grew. The company turned to DALIM SOFTWARE and its workflow tools, including DALIM TWIST, DALIM FUSION, and DALIM WEBLINK, to support the automation of book interiors, covers, plating, and approvals.

DALIM SOFTWARE implemented a rules-based, automated workflow that handled imposition, trim and bleed checks, plate generation, and remote production across Phoenix Color’s Maryland and Indiana facilities. The result was major efficiency gains: Phoenix Color now processes 100–200 jobs per day and more than 13,000 plates per month, while increasing throughput, reducing manual intervention and production risk, and maintaining consistent quality at scale.
