DUPUIS faced a major platform change when it needed to migrate its production workflows from DALIM MISTRAL to DALIM ES while preserving the customizations and habits built up over years. The project—led by vendor DALIM SOFTWARE—had to maintain production tracking, archiving, tagging and PDF/color-management routines for both print and web formats, and the six-month migration required extended work hours from some staff to ensure continuity.

DALIM SOFTWARE implemented DALIM ES as a collaborative production platform, keeping almost all MISTRAL-specific features without extra development and adding native-file archiving, easier tagging, automated feeds (BDI, ePub, Europe‑comics) and WEBTOON support. The system was deployed across two data centers (Brussels and Paris) with a 24‑engine cluster, increased bandwidth and daily backups; the six‑month rollout now supports about 450 registered users, multi‑resolution PDF delivery, integration with distributors and the addition of new editors after acquisitions (La Martinière, Le Seuil), demonstrating clear scalability and measurable operational continuity.
