North American Color (NAC), a Kalamazoo, Michigan graphic communications company that runs the NACTools suite (including 4Print based on DALiM DiALOGUE), was producing highly complex, vector‑heavy packaging artwork from Adobe Illustrator that repeatedly slowed or choked their RIP. They needed a way to speed RIP processing and keep output faithful to the original art without buying a new RIP. The vendor involved was DALIM SOFTWARE, with the key product being DALiM TWiST.

DALIM SOFTWARE (working with reseller IO Integration) implemented a DALiM TWiST automated output workflow to optimize and normalize the complex Illustrator PDFs into print‑ready files for the RIP, producing one‑bit screened TIFFs consistently. The new DALiM TWiST workflow eliminated RIP failures, greatly sped up processing, and allowed NAC to increase its packaging business significantly while maintaining faithful output and streamlined proofing through DALiM DiALOGUE.
