Prinovis, Europe’s largest rotogravure printing company, sought to replace a fragmented, site-by-site prepress landscape with a single standardized system to centralize prepress and IT support, reduce the number of components and providers, and cut costs. To achieve this, Prinovis selected DALIM SOFTWARE and its TWIST/ES solutions (ES TWIST, TWIST Engine) plus the ES DIALOGUE Engine soft-proofing servers to modernize and harmonize prepress across its German and UK plants.

DALIM SOFTWARE implemented ES TWIST and the DIALOGUE Engine to automate workflows, enable browser-based collaborative approvals and drive soft-proofing in place of costly hard-copy proofs. The rollout delivered measurable gains—file processing sped up about 20–30%, prepress staffing fell by roughly three to four full-time employees per site, and remote soft-proofing eliminated press proofs for large runs (e.g., 64 issues totaling 170 million copies), freeing manpower and reducing production costs.
